You could call these casseroles, but then I might feel like less of an artist. They are very practical pieces. They are wheel thrown with carved handles and glazed throughout, including the foot area so they won't take on any moisture. The lids fit snuggly and the pieces are sturdy. The large "casserole" holds a quart and a half, and the medium one quart.
